Rider fitness training
Rider fitness is a prerequisite for developing and improving riding skills. Belford offers equestrian
focused personal training, yoga, Pilates, massage, and Feldenkrais sessions that will show you how you
can improve your riding every day, even if you don't ride for a week or a month. Core stability,
flexibility, balance, independent movement of parts of the body, and new and controlled ways of moving
your hands, legs, head and pelvis will improve your position, your seat, and the effectiveness of your aids.
You'll notice the difference the next time you ride - and so will the horse!
These sessions can be undertaken on their own, or combined with riding instruction.
